Arrests:

8:10am      600 Block Blythdale                     Battery
Officers Smethurst and Abucay were dispatched to the report of a verbal altercation between roommates.  The Victim told officers that she had gotten into an extremely heated verbal altercation with her roommate.  She was ultimately grabbed by the arm and pushed down on to a bed when attempting to leave the room.  Victim did not report any injuries nor complain of any pain.  The suspect was taken into custody without incident.   Report Number 110522384

10:27am   Unit Blk Highland                    Illegal Lodging
Sgt.  Miller responded to the area regarding illegal campers that had built a shelter under the bridge at that location.  Three subjects were located within the encampment along with two canines.  The camp had blankets, clothing and various materials that were indicative of an illegal living space.  All three suspects were instructed to exit the site and complied with the Sergeant’s instructions.  They were cited for illegally lodging on city property.  It should be noted that all three suspects were advised regarding the Homeless Outreach Team.  Report Number 110522469

11:30am   3300 Blk Mission                       Shoplifting
Officers Pai and Araujo responded to this location regarding a shoplifting suspect detained by Sgt. Dare.   Sgt. Dare had been flagged down by the store manager and had been able to detain a suspect that had just left the store with some stolen items.  Upon being detained, a search of the suspect was conducted and all items retrieved from a jacket sleeve.  Officers Pai and Araujo responded to the scene and took the suspect into custody.  Due to a lengthy history of theft and shoplifting, the suspect was transported back to Ingleside Station and booked.  All items recovered were returned to the store manager.  Report Number 110522691

5:20pm      300 Blk Crescent         Narcotics Possession
Officers Uang, Hopkins, Hart and Duffin were on patrol in the area when they noted a vehicle with a cracked windshield. The vehicle also failed to display any license plates.  A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle.  Upon making contact with the driver, Officers recognized him to be a known Parolee.  Officers confirmed his active status with Parole and also discovered that he had been driving the vehicle with a suspended driver’s license.  The suspect was taken into custody without incident.  During a search of the vehicle, narcotics were discovered and seized as evidence.  The Parolee was then transported back to Ingleside Station for further investigation and booking.  Report Number 110523661

6:02pm      1700 Blk Sunnydale            Warrant Arrest
Officers Antonian and Dudley were on patrol in the area when they saw a subject walking towards them that had an active warrant out for his arrest.  Both officers exited their patrol car and took the male into custody without incident.  The warrant was confirmed and the suspect booked in at Ingleside Station.   Report Number 100000992

Victim responded to the station to report an ongoing problem with his ex-girlfriend.  Victim reported that he had sole custody of their child due to the mother’s problematic history of drug abuse.  Victim went to a family barbecue and the suspect showed up at the residence.  After making threats towards the Victim and their child, she fled.  Victim did not call the police at the time of the incident, but wanted documentation.  Report Number 110520087

Victim responded to the station to report that she had been attacked while working as a Security Guard.  Victim had been within the store when she noticed an unknown female enter and pick up one of the small black "hand baskets".  The female suddenly approached the Victim, began yelling profanities at her and swung the basket in an effort to hit her.  The suspect then fled from the store.  Victim felt that the store would have video tape from the incident and requested follow-up investigation.  Victim had no further suspect information.  Report Number 110495236

Victim reported that she had parked and secured her vehicle at this location.  Upon returning several hours later, she discovered that her vehicle had been entered.  She was unable to determine how entry had been made.  The glove compartment was open and four DVD’s stolen.  She had no suspect information.    Report Number 116081887

11:05am   500 Blk Mission              Shoplifting
Officer Ocreto responded to a store regarding a theft.  The store manager reported that two males wearing black hooded jackets had entered the premises and stolen several items from off of the store’s shelves.  After grabbing the items, both suspects ran past the cash register without paying and fled northbound down
Mission Street
.  The manager felt he could positively identify the suspects if he saw them again.  A search of the immediate area by officers was unsuccessful in locating either suspect.   Report Number 110522726

2:15pm     50 Phelan                        Theft
Victim responded to the Community College Police headquarters to report a theft.  She explained to them that she had gone to the Wellness Center and left her personal items within an unlocked locker.  Upon returning to the locker, she discovered that her backpack had been stolen along with all personal items within it.  She had no suspect information.   Report Number 110523263

Victim reported that he locked and left his vehicle at this location.  Upon returning to the vehicle, he discovered that someone had shattered his rear windshield.  No items had been stolen from the car and no other damage was noted.  Victim had no suspect information.   Report Number 116081893

6:00pm     300 Blk Edinburgh                Burglary
Officer Gomez responded to a residence regarding the theft of several items.  Victim reported that he had locked and left his residence that morning and had gone to work.  Upon returning to the residence later that day, he discovered several expensive items missing. A landlord who resided in the building told the Victim that his ex-girlfriend had entered the residence and loaded items into a nearby parked vehicle.  The landlord recognized the ex-girlfriend and another suspect that had assisted her in stealing the items.  They had both been seen with the Victim on several occasions, so the landlord was familiar with both.  Victim asked for no further police action to be taken.   Report Number 110524277

6:15pm     900 Blk Ellsworth                 Robbery
Officers Hopkins and Uang were approached by a male victim who wished to report a robbery.  Victim told officers that he had just been assaulted and his wallet stolen.  The victim had been walking in the area when he was suddenly approached by an unknown male from behind.  The suspect grabbed him around the neck and victim fell down to the ground.  The suspect than demanded his money, rummaged through his pockets and stole his wallet.  The victim said that he feared for his safety and remained on the ground until the suspect fled the area in an unknown direction.  Victim sustained no injuries and did not want any medical assistance.  Further investigation is being conducted by Station Investigators.  Report Number 110523871

Officers McCall and Lozano responded to a call regarding a vandalized vehicle.  Victim told officers that he locked and left his vehicle. Upon returning, he found that someone had smashed his passenger rear window and had poured paint into the passenger compartment.  The right rear tire had also been slashed.  Victim had no suspect description and said he had been having no issues with anyone.   Report Number 110524998

11:15pm        100 Blk Bertita                   Battery
Officer Benavidez, along with several other Ingleside Patrol Units, responded to this location regarding a fight in progress.  The fight was said to involve numerous subjects.  Upon arrival, officers made contact with Victim.  The victim reported that he was "jumped" by numerous subjects when walking towards his parked vehicle.  The unknown male subjects had begun calling him names and then attacked him for unknown reasons.  Victim did not know any of the involved suspects, nor could he recognize them if he saw them again.  Victim had lost consciousness during the attack and was transported to the hospital by Paramedics for further evaluation.  All suspects had fled the scene prior to police arrival.  A thorough search of the area was unsuccessful in locating possible suspects.  Report Number 110524493

Sergeant Miller responded to a call regarding the theft of a bicycle.  Victim had left his bicycle secured in a carport area via a personal lock and cable.  He returned in the morning to find that the cable had been cut and the bike stolen.  The building had no security cameras and There was no suspect description.  Report Number 110522754

Arrests:

11:50am             1400 Blk Sunnydale            Aggravated Assault
Officers Hornstein and Goldsborough responded to a call regarding a fight.  Upon arrival, they located a male victim who was bleeding from a cut to his neck.  Victim told the officers that his roommate had assaulted him and was currently within the residence in a back room.  The officers searched the residence, located the suspect in a back bedroom and detained the suspect without incident.  Victim told the officers that he had gotten into an argument with the suspect.  Suspect suddenly produced a tool that appeared to be a knife. He attempted to grab the knife from her hand but was unsuccessful.  Victim then grabbed a nearby phone and struck the suspect in the head.  Suspect made a verbal threat to kill the victim and then slashed victim’s neck.  The suspect also sustained a slight laceration to the neck from the struggle. An ambulance responded to the scene and rendered aid to both subjects. After further investigation officers determined this to be a mutual combat situation and both subjects were taken into custody.   Report  110520247

Officers Tam and Padilla were on patrol when they recognized a known suspect walking within the Sunnydale Housing Projects.  After conducting a computer query, they discovered that the male had an outstanding warrant for his arrest.  The suspect was taken into custody and booked in at Ingleside Station.     Report 110161704

1:46am               Sickles at Mission               Robbery
Officers Hermosura and Contreras were dispatched to the call of an attempted robbery. Victim told the officers that he had been walking down Mission Street and boarded a MUNI bus.  Upon exiting the bus he realized that four males had followed him off of the bus and attempted to grab his backpack.  The Victim’s backpack was wrapped around both arms and he did not allow suspect’s to grab the backpack.  Suspect’s than assaulted the Victim, causing minor injuries to his face.  The suspect’s then fled from the area.  An ambulance responded to the scene.  Officers were unsuccessful in locating the involved suspects.    Report 110521881

2:41am               5300 Blk Mission                 Burglary
Officers Lozano and McCall responded to a burglary.  Victim stated that she had been sleeping when she suddenly heard loud noises coming from the rear of her residence.  She went to see what was causing the noise and discovered damage to her back door.  No other damage was noted and no items appeared to be missing. Officers photographed the damage and booked the evidence in at Ingleside Station.     Report 110519303

Officers Lozano and McCall responded to the call of a burglary.  Victim advised officers that she left for work that morning and closed her garage door.  She was unable to recall whether or not the garage door had been locked.  When she returned from work she found her garage door open and several items missing.  Officers were unable to find any signs of forced entry and Victim had no further information.       Report 110521609

Victim responded to Ingleside Station to report a vandalism.  She stated that she had parked and secured her vehicle.  Upon returning, she found that her rear window was smashed and some scratches were on the car.  There was no suspect information.  Report 110519814

2:00pm                Unit Blk of Tiffany           Threats
Officers Marino and Aslam responded to a call regarding threats.  Victim advised that a known suspect who has a drug history began making threats towards her over the phone.  Victim told officers that she felt that the threats were credible and was fearful that the suspect would act on those threats.  She wanted the incident documented.      Report  110520134

4:40pm                 Cortland at Coral Ridge      Robbery
Officers Blume and Gonzalez responded to a robbery.  Victim told officers he had been walking on Cortland Avenue when approached by a male that demanded his money.  The suspect told the victim that he had a gun and demanded any money in his possession.  Suspect then reached into the victim’s pants pocket, removed a cellular phone and then fled the area.  Victim provided a suspect description and officers searched the area unsuccessfully.  Victim feels that he could identify the suspect if he saw him again.             Report   110520980

8:22pm                 Ocean Ave at HWY280 On Ramp     Robbery
Officers Chang and Park were dispatched to the call of a robbery.  Victim stated that she had been listening to her IPhone while text-messaging when an unknown suspect grabbed her from behind.  Suspect grabbed the back of her head, jerking her head backwards.  The suspect then grabbed the victim’s cellphone and pushed her down to the ground.  The suspect then fled the area towards Ocean Avenue.  Victim provided the police with a detailed suspect description but officers were unsuccessful in locating the suspect.  Victim was unsure if she could identify suspect if she saw him again.                Report  110521502

11:00pm               Unit Blk of Santa Rosa      Burglary
Officer Rand responded to a burglary.  He met with the reportee upon arrival and was advised that the building had been secured when he last exited.  Upon returning, he discovered that forced entry had been made and that several rooms had been ransacked.  Several expensive pieces of electronic equipment had been stolen from the premises and various items damaged.  Officers photographed all damage discovered on-scene and booked all evidence in at Ingleside Station.  Station Investigators will be conducting further investigation of this burglary.      Report    100519632

Officer Larocca was dispatched to a commercial burglary.  Reportee advised that upon arrival at work, he discovered the front gate lock cut and pried open.  Entry was made into the premises and various items were discovered missing.  Suspect entered through the front door.  Reportee refused any further police assistance.            Report   110519933

3:24pm     3300 Blk Mission      Shoplifting
Officers Chew and Lim were dispatched to the call of a shoplifter.  The reportee advised that a male entered the store with several paper bags. The suspect placed several bottles of alcohol into the bags and exited the store without paying the cashier.  The reportee detained the suspect once he exited the store and escorted back on to the premises.  Reportee signed a citizen’s arrest for the theft and the suspect was cited.   Report 110517846

4:25pm     3300 Blk Mission       Shoplifting
Officers Goldsborough and Hornstein responded to the call of a shoplifter being detained.  Reportee advised that a male had entered the store with a grocery bag and placed several bags of frozen shrimp into the bag.  The male then exited the store, bypassing the cashier without making payment.  Reportee detained the suspect once he exited the premises and signed a citizen’s arrest.  The suspect was then issued a citation for the theft of the frozen food items.   Report 110518399

Officers Turner and Chan responded to the call of a shoplifter being detained.  Reportee advised that a male entered the store, took a bottle of Johnny Walker Scotch and secreted into his jacket.  The suspect then exited the store, bypassing the cashier without making payment.  Reportee detained the male as soon as he exited the store and escorted back onto the premises.  Reportee told officers he wanted to make a citizen’s arrest and the suspect was transported back to Ingleside Station for further investigation. Once the suspect was properly identified, he was issued a citation for the theft.

Officers Sugitan and Fung were dispatched to the call of a vandalism.  Victim advised the officers that he returned to his home and discovered that the deadbolt to his front door had been damaged.  He was unable to provide any further information and told officers that entry to the premises did not take place.   Report 110517498

12:00pm   Still/Lyell                       Robbery
Officer Rand responded to the call of a robbery that had just occurred.  Various other units from Ingleside Station also responded to the scene.  Officer Rand made contact with the victim and received  detailed suspect descriptions, the suspects having just fled from the scene.  The units canvassed the area but were unsuccessful in locating any of the suspects. Victim told officers that she had been walking northbound on
Lyell Street
talking on her cellular phone when she was approached by three unknown males.  One of the suspects immediately grabbed her right arm, which was the hand holding on to her phone.  The phone was ripped from her hand and all three suspects fled from the area.  Victim said that she would be able to identify the suspects if she saw them again.  She sustained no injuries and refused any medical attention.  Report 110517090

Victim came to Ingleside Station to report that his personal information had been fraudulently obtained.  The suspect used his personal information to purchase a vehicle which was ultimately towed.  The storage company had contacted Victim in an attempt to receive payment for the storage fees.  Victim wanted a police report to document the fraud.  He was unable to provide any further information.   Report 110518258

Victim came to Ingleside Station to report a fraud.  He stated that he had ordered an IPhone over the Internet, which he never received.  He contacted AT&T and was informed by their Customer Service that the phone had, in fact, been delivered and signed for by an unknown party.  AT&T requested that he file a police report so that they could replace the stolen phone.  Report 110517476

Officers Fung and Sugitan responded to a store regarding threats that had been made as well as a vandalism to the premises. Reportee advised officers that a male who had previously been caught shoplifting had entered the store. After the initial incident, the suspect had been advised that he was no longer wanted on the premises and would be charged with trespassing if he returned.  When reportee saw the same suspect, he confronted him and directed him to leave.  The male became irate and aggressive, going into a fighting stance and making physical threats towards the Reportee.  The suspect began to exit the store, but suddenly stopped and damaged several store items.  Suspect fled the area and units were unsuccessful in locating him.     Report 110517802

Victim walked into Park Station in order to file a report regarding being harassed. Victim stated that she had been being harassed via text messages by her brother-in-law.  Victim stated that she would be obtaining a Restraining Order, but wanted the incident documented.   Report 110511951

4:30pm     3300 Blk Mission          Theft
Officers Lim and Chew responded to a call regarding the theft of wooden pallets.  Reportee advised that two males had pulled up the rear of the premises in a pickup truck and placed approximately 30 pallets into the rear of the truck.  The suspects then fled from the area.  A license plate for the vehicle was obtained and the incident remains under investigation.   Report 110517959

Officer Ferronato and his partner, Officer Sanchez, responded to a report of a vandalism.  Victim reported that over the weekend, an unknown suspect had broken out the glass of the building’s front door.  No further suspect information was reported.    Report 1105116359

Officer Ferronato responded to a call regarding a bike theft.  Victim lived within an apartment building and reported that her bike had been left unsecured within the front lobby area.  The lobby area is secured by a locked metal gate.  Upon returning to the bike later that evening, she discovered that the bike had been stolen. 9:33am               Unit Blk Harrington             Warrant
Sgt. Escobar, Officer Lim and Officer Trujillo responded to an address where an informant had advised that an individual was sleeping in the home who had an active felony warrant.  The officers confirmed the warrant and responded to the address.  The reportee answered the door and let the officers inside.  The officers were escorted to where the individual was sleeping and he was taken into custody without incident.   Report 081250426

12:45pm             3300 Blk Mission St            Shoplifting
Officer Thompson responded to the call of a shoplifter.   Reportee advised that a female had entered the store, placed several items inside her pants and exited the store without making any attempt to pay for the items.  The reportee detained the suspect and escorted her back into the store.  He signed a citizen’s arrest and the suspect was cited for the theft.  Report 110514165

Officers Hauscarriague and Burke were on patrol when they saw a suspect at a residence known for narcotics activity.  The officers believed the suspect was talking with another individual, conducting a narcotics transaction.  The officers contacted the suspect who was in possession of narcotics and narcotics paraphernalia. The suspect also had an outstanding warrant.  The officers arrested the suspect and took him into custody.  Report 110515577

Officer Lundy responded to a threats call.  He was advised by victim that he had argued with a known suspect earlier that day and that he received a telephone call from someone saying they were going to shoot him.  Victim stated that he believed the suspect was capable of the threat because he had threatened him in the past and has had his home vandalized.  Report 110515931

Officer Frisk responded to an address where a male was in violation of an active restraining order. She spoke with reportee who advised the suspect had been sitting on the front steps and that he had been arrested in the past for violating the order.  When the officer arrived the suspect had left the area and her search for him was unsuccessful.  Report 110513719

Officer Rand was dispatched to the call of a burglary.  Victim advised that his construction company was working on the home and that when he arrived on site today he found the chain links had been cut and various items missing.  Suspects can touched various surfaces which could possibly have fingerprint evidence and the officer advised the victim that SFPD crime scene investigators would respond to the site to attempt to collect evidence.  Report 110513894

Victim came to Ingleside station to report a robbery.  She advised that she was entering her home when two males grabbed her from behind and pushed her.  One of the males grabbed her purse and both fled the area.  Victim stated she was not injured and would not be able to recognize the suspects if she saw them again.  Report 110514397

Officers Morgante and Martinez were dispatched to report of a trespasser.  The victim told the officer that a known suspect was sleeping in the business garage.  The suspect was known and had been admonished on at least two other occasions not to return.  The victim wanted the suspect arrested. The suspect was contacted and arrested for trespassing.  Report 110510652

11:17am             200 Blk Dublin St                 Battery
Officers Sugitan and Fung responded to a report of a suspect out of control. The suspect was on a rampage throughout the house, causing damage to several rooms.  At one point, the suspect picked up a fire poker and was running around the house with it.  One victim tried to stop the suspect, but she was scared because he was holding the fire poker. Another victim was hit in the face.  The suspect was arrested.  Report 110510997

Officers Hauscarriague, Burke, Obot, Duffin and Hart responded to the address of a known suspect who had an outstanding warrant.  The officers made contact with the suspect and took her into custody.  Report 101093803

Officers Pedersen and Polovina were on patrol when they were dispatched to a report of a battery.  The victim had a large cut over his eye.  He said that he got into a fight over a soccer game, and the suspect punched him in the face.  The suspect hit the victim several times.  The suspect was contacted and he claimed the victim threw a bottle at him during the argument.  Neither party wanted to press charges.  Report 110512921

Officers Holmes and Lundy responded to a report of an assault.  The victim had several bruises and swelling on his entire face.  The victim said that he was walking with his friends when two suspects approached him and started beating him up for no reason.  Report 110512943

A victim reported that her vehicle had been vandalized.  An unknown suspect tampered with the lock on the driver side door, causing scratches around the key hole.  Report 116080679

A victim reported that he parked his vehicle overnight in front of a friend’s house.  The victim returned and found that the rear window on his vehicle was smashed and his backpack taken from inside.  Report 116080685

Officers Hart, Obot and Duffin were dispatched to a report of a burglary.  The victim said he returned home and attempted to open the door.  The victim felt resistance to the door, as if someone was behind it holding it closed.  The victim heard footsteps running down the stairs.  The victim was finally able to open the door and saw two suspects fleeing out of the back door.  There were several expensive items stolen.  Report 110511155
