         Arrests:

2:53pm       200 Blk Richland                    Drugs
Several neighbors on the 200 block of Richland Avenue had enough of the constant noise coming from a specific house and decided to make a complaint with Ingleside Station. The officers were directed to make passing calls on this block. It just so happened that on this day, Officers Leong and Mora knew the individual in question and knew that he was on active probation and had a search condition. The officers decided to walk up to the house to exercise the search condition. They knocked on the door and were met by a family member, who directed them to the suspect’s living quarters. Once there, they met with the suspect in question and immediately detained him pending further investigation. The officers then searched the suspect and found a usable quantity of methamphetamine in one of his pockets. They seized the drug and cited the suspect out on a misdemeanor charge. Further search of the room revealed no other contra band inside the room. The subject was then released from the scene. Report Number: 150744504

The suspect then climbed over a backyard fence and into the next door residence. Ingleside Officers Shugars, Paras, and Cvetovac responded and went next door. They questioned the neighbor who admitted climbing over the fence and entering the home through the “doggie door”. Ingleside Officers Morgante, Phillips and Ortega responded to a report of a burglary in progress at a home on Sussex Street. While in route, the officers encountered the victim and her husband, who had followed the suspects into the Glen Park BART station. The officers contacted a BART employee who said one of the suspects was on a Millbrae bound train that was being held at the platform. The officers boarded the train and found the suspect sitting down and placed him in custody. They also recovered a cell phone belonging to the suspect under the seat where he was sitting. He was brought up to the station entrance where the victims identified him as the man seen earlier, who with a companion, had broken into their home and stolen several electronic items. The homeowners also said that the suspect had a female accomplice who was also followed and observed throwing a purse over a fence into a neighbor’s backyard. Officer Morrow found the purse. Another witness, at a market, told the officers that the same female suspect had discarded a backpack at a street side dumpster. Officers recovered the backpack which contained several of the electronic items stolen from the home. The pursuit continued for a while before ending when the suspect skidded into the median on the 300 block of Alemany. There was a short pursuit after the suspect exited the vehicle and tried to run away from officers. He was placed in custody and the officers searched his car and clothing finding a punch used to burglarize vehicles and a stolen laptop that was taken from a parked car on Potrero Hill earlier in the evening. The suspect was booked at Ingleside Station for auto burglary, possession of stolen property, driving with a suspended license, possession of burglary tools, and reckless driving.
